Food Security

    The humanitarian crisis in Yemen is the worst in the world. According to international reports, some 18 million people are food insecure, of whom more than 8 million are vulnerable to diseases caused by severe food shortages. Out of three people don’t know the source of their next meal.

  • The association aims to provide food to the most affected families and increase their access to monthly food aid provided by the society through the appropriate mechanism for each region.

  • Emergency food assistance project for the most affected families in Al-Shamaitin district.
  • Emergency food assistance project for the most affected families in Mukha district.

  • Via the coupon system.
  • Via the cash transfer mechanism.
  • Number of beneficiaries = 41,475 individuals
