Protection, shelter and non-food items

  • Yemen is currently experiencing a major protection crisis worldwide, with civilians exposed to multiple risks as a result of the ongoing violence and ongoing security events for years.The prolonged and renewed displacement has created harsh and painful conditions for tens of thousands of displaced persons in camps and shelters.
  • Our goal
  • The project’s main objective is to provide life-saving assistance to families fleeing violence, as well as to alleviate the suffering of IDPs, host families and families most affected by displacement through non-food assistance, shelter materials and livelihood rents.
  • Projects of this program
  • Supporting the most affected families of the displaced and the host community with shelter and non-food items. It includes the following activities:
  • Distribution of emergency shelter kits (non-food items)
  • Emergency Shelter Distribution Project
  • Distribution of cash assistance for rent
  • Non-food assistance, shelter materials and livelihood rents for families most affected by IDPs include the following activities:
  • Distribution of rents to IDPs most affected by the events.
  • Distribution of non-food items to IDPs affected by juveniles.
  • Livelihood projects for targeted rentals
  • The number of beneficiaries of the project reached 18,484 individuals
